All our programs begin with an individual vulnerable youth (girl or boy). We look at the world from a youth's perspective and work with the community to dismantle the barriers to self reliance, independence and leadership through the CORE Initiative. Through skills development and empowerment that CORE provides, these resilient youth (boys and girls) especially teenage mothers are transforming their lives, and the lives of many other vulnerable children in their communities. .

As a sponsor, you are more than just someone far away supporting a child's education, a teen mother or a vulnerable youth - you are also a mentor and a friend. You are, similar to a godfather or a godmother. At CORE Initiative we encourage communication between our sponsors and our students. You will receive a letter at least twice a year, with a current photo and an English translation.
